Established in 1983 Ryland Horticulture Ltd. have a dedicated and trained team of professionals who are up to date with all the relevant regulations and current best working practices. We also employ college trained staff who continue their training and growth with Rylands. We have strong professional and environmental ethics, backed by good company management which has resulted in a good reputation within the Industry.
For over 40 years, since 1989 Ryland Horticulture Ltd. have been Arboricultural Approved Contractors, Chartered Horticulturists (members of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture) and Trust Mark Approved Contractors (Government Endorsed Standards). We are also Lantra Instructors and NPTC assessors with full employer liability cover providing over £10 million of public liability.

Rylands Arboricultural and Tree Surgery Services works are undertaken in accordance with current research and developments on tree health and maintenance.
These standards cover all aspects of work to be undertaken on trees. It provides recommendations to you the client on the process involved in any tree work starting with the assessment and inspection phases before work takes place and covering all of the detailed operations such as pruning, treatment of wounds and crown management.
BS 3998:2010 is a full revision of the previous 1989 standard, which has been updated and expanded to incorporate changes in the law and working practice concerning established trees. This takes account of underlying issues such as tree longevity, value for local amenity, landscape, biodiversity, and heritage.
