Ryland Horticulture Ltd are approved landscape gardeners, tree surgeons, and tree specialists, retaining both membership and/or contractor roles with the following associations:
The Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor Scheme is ISO certified. The Arboricultural Association, with 2,000 members, is the largest professional institution in the UK for amenity tree care professionals.
The association is a hub for all sectors of arboriculture: civic, commercial, utility and academic. They are the home for all levels of tree care professional, including craft, technical, supervisory, managerial and consultancy.
TrustMark is a non-profit organisation licensed by the government and supported by consumer protection groups. TrustMark gives consumers more confidence in their tradesman when spending their hard earned cash. Every trader who has signed up to the scheme has been independently assessed for their competence.
The Chartered Institute of Horticulture are one of the leading voices in the horticultural industry. Throughout the UK and Ireland, the CIH helps professionals continuously develop in their careers as they demand high levels of skills and knowledge to be eligible for membership. An active force in the industry for 40 years, CIH has strengthened the influence and voice of horticulturalists regarding government and policy initiatives.

That’s why Lantra is committed to helping land-based and environmental businesses such as Ryland Horticulture access the training, qualifications, skills and knowledge they need. They are the UK’s Sector Skills Council for land-based and environmental industries.
City & Guilds are a global leader in skills development, providing services to training providers, employers and trainees across a variety of sectors to meet the needs of today’s workplace. Their qualifications and apprenticeships are valued by employers across the world, helping individuals develop their talents and abilities for career progression.
